In China, according to the content of Al2O3 in high alumina refractory bricks , it is usually pided into three grades: Grade IAl2O3 content75%; Grade IIAl2O3 content is 60-75%; Grade IIIAl2O3 content is 48-60%. The production process of high-alumina bricks and multi-clinker clay bricks is similar, the difference is that the proportion of clinker in the ingredients is higher, which can be as high as 90-95%. High Alumina Refractory Brick Details
In China, according to the content of Al2O3 in high alumina refractory bricks, it is usually pided into three grades: Grade I——Al2O3 content>75%; Grade II——Al2O3 content is 60-75%; Grade III——Al2O3 content is 48-60%.
The production process of high-alumina bricks and multi-clinker clay bricks is similar, the difference is that the proportion of clinker in the ingredients is higher, which can be as high as 90-95%. Higher, such as I, II and other high alumina bricks are generally 1500 ~ 1600 ℃ when fired in tunnel kilns.
Feature
1. Refractoriness
The refractoriness of high alumina refraactory bricks is higher than that of clay bricks and semi-silica bricks, reaching 1750~1790℃, which belongs to advanced refractory materials.
2. Load softening temperature
Because the Al2O3 in high alumina products is high, the amount of impurities is low, and the fusible glass body is less, so the softening temperature under load is high, but because the mullite crystal does not form a network structure, the softening temperature under load is still not as high as that of silica brick.
3. Slag resistance
High alumina refractory bricks are close to neutral refractory materials and can resist the erosion of acidic slag and alkaline slag. Because they contain SiO2, their ability to resist alkaline slag is weaker than that of acid-resistant slag.
Application
Mainly used for masonry blast furnace, hot blast stove, electric furnace roof, blast furnace, reverberatory furnace, rotary kiln lining. In addition, high alumina bricks are also widely used as open hearth regenerative checker bricks, plugs for pouring systems, nozzle bricks, etc.

Semi-silica brick refers to an aluminum-silicon refractory product with a SiO2 content of greater than 65% and an Al2O3 content of 15% to 30%. They generally use clay containing quartz impurities or native kaolin refractory clay or tailings and pyroph...
The Al2O3 content of anchor bricks is above 55%, and some users require that the alumina content reach 75%, and the load softening temperature of 75% bricks reaches 1550C. However, in actual use, anchor bricks with high aluminum content cannot be enough. The key is Flexibility is the most important t...
