Zirconium Mullite Brick Details
Zirconium mullite brick is a zirconium-containing refractory brick that improves the structure of mullite by introducing Zr02 into the A1203-Si02 brick to improve the chemical resistance, thermal shock resistance and reduce the expansion coefficient of mullite. It is generally produced by the electric melting method, but also produced by sintering method. Sintered zirconium mullite bricks are refractory materials made by using industrial alumina and zircon concentrate as raw materials and introducing zirconia into the mullite matrix through a reactive sintering process. Introducing zirconia into mullite bricks, and using the phase change toughening of zirconia can greatly improve the high-temperature mechanical properties of mullite materials. Zirconia promotes the sintering of mullite materials. The addition of Zr02 can accelerate the densification and sintering process of ZTM materials due to the generation of low melting point substances and the formation of vacancies. When the mass fraction of Zr02 is 30%, the relative theoretical density of the green body fired at 1530°C reaches 98%, the strength reaches 378MPa, and the toughness reaches 4.3MPa. m1/2.
Features
Good chemical resistance, stable thermal shock resistance, low expansion coefficient, high temperature resistance, high load softening temperature, high pressure strength, and toughness.
Application
It is used for the chest wall of the small glass kiln, the hanging wall brick of float L, the ceiling of the ceramic frit glaze furnace.
Zirconium mullite bricks can be used for casting steel slides, sizing nozzles and shrouds of continuous casting ladle, and glass furnaces.

Semi-silica brick refers to an aluminum-silicon refractory product with a SiO2 content of greater than 65% and an Al2O3 content of 15% to 30%. They generally use clay containing quartz impurities or native kaolin refractory clay or tailings and pyroph...
The Al2O3 content of anchor bricks is above 55%, and some users require that the alumina content reach 75%, and the load softening temperature of 75% bricks reaches 1550C. However, in actual use, anchor bricks with high aluminum content cannot be enough. The key is Flexibility is the most important t...
