Low Cement Castable is a castable with a CaO content of less than 3%. Compared with ordinary refractory castables, it has better performance at high temperatures and requires less water, which makes the castables have lower porosity and Higher density. This injection material can be widely used in high-temperature and high-wear-resistant parts in petrochemical industry, metallurgy, building materials, electric power, carbon black and other industries, such as sulfur furnace, asphalt tail gas furnace, atmospheric pressure vacuum furnace and other working layers in petrochemical industry. It has the characteristics of high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, wear resistance and good thermal shock performance.
Advantages
Low Cement Castable uses calcium aluminate cement as a binder, with high ignition temperature and high working temperature. The high temperature strength will increase as the heat treatment temperature increases. The low CaO content reduces the formation of eutectic crystals, improves the refractory temperature, compressive strength, and slag resistance. The proportion of particles can be adjusted according to user needs, and can be configured as self-flowing casting material and pumping casting material.
