is also known as red corundum, its main component is α-alumina.Chromium corundum is made of alumina powder as the main raw material, chromium oxide, etc., and is smelted at high temperature. It is pink, its hardness is similar to that of white corundum, and its toughness is higher than that of white corundum.

When adding chromium oxide, the particle size of the refractory powder should be adjusted, and different particle size classifications will affect the performance of the chromium corundum castable. Applications
Chrome corundum castables are mainly used for lining of carbon black reaction furnaces and coal-water slurry gasifiers, and the operating temperature is generally above 1700 degrees. Also used in high temperature areas of melting furnaces with an oxidizing atmosphere, such as the slag part of gasification melting furnaces.
